Kenneth C. Zappitelli, age 59, of Conneaut, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026.
Kenny was born on October 15, 1966, the son of Carl and Betty (Dittler) Zappitelli. He was a 1985 graduate of Conneaut High School and most recently worked for Wheeler Rex Industry as a factory worker for 14 years.
Kenny enjoyed music, playing the drums, yardwork and his animals. Kenny loved to fish and have bonfires in his back yard. He was known to his family as the “Italian Grandma” as he was also a wonderful Italian cook. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends. Kenny would help anyone and had the biggest heart. He attended Mass at Corpus Christi Parish.
He was preceded in death by his father. Carl V. Zappitelli.
Kenny is survived by his mother Betty Zappitelli, of Conneaut, wife Maria (Cavaliere) Zappitelli, four children, Devyn Zappitelli of Conneaut, Taylor (Bryce Adkins) Tomcany of Jefferson, Madison (Zachary) Tomcany-King of Ashtabula and Nicholas (Madison Gildersleeve) Tomcany of Conneaut, two brothers Carl (Linda) Zappitelli of Geneva and Joseph Zappitelli of California, three sisters Mary Zappitelli of Conneaut, Rachel (Steve) Heller of Portland, OR and Caroline (Mark) Hido of Conneaut, one grandchild Beckham Tomcany, nieces and nephews, Heather (Jeff) Lawlor, Kevin Bernini, Sara Heller, Matt Heller, Madelyn Zappitelli, Joely Zappitelli, Julian Zappitelli, Carlina Zappitelli, great niece Katelynn Lawlor, and several other nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, his father-in-law Guy Cavaliere, grandfather James Kniskern, sister-in-law Joanna (Gary) Tomcany, their children Deven, Kaela and Kaitlyn, brother-in law Sean (Ciera) Meyers, and his two children Lucas and Logan.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St, Conneaut, followed by a PRIVATE FAMILY service at 5:00 p.m. with Deacon Nick Iarocci.
Mass of the Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026, at St. Frances Cabrini Church, with Fr. Philip Miller of Corpus Christi Parish officiating.
Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut at the convenience of the family.
